Work & Play with Jacamo {Review}

My husband rarely gets involved in my blog, he’s not really that interested (although he does on occasions pretend to be) but when we contacted recently and asked if we wanted to work with Jacamo he suddenly had a change of heart. We were asked if we (well, he not we) would like to review some of their range and although Jacamo was a brand I had heard of it wasn’t one either of us had shopped with before so were keen to take a look at what was on offer. Review: My First Thomas and Friends Railset

Knowing what to buy for a one year old is hard.  They can’t tell you what they want and whilst you can try your best to guess they are unpredictable in the toys they will love and the ones that will be left untouched in the bottom of the toy box. I find it even harder second time around as G often wants to play with O’s toys which are sometimes a little too old for him, plus we already have so many toys that being completely honest there isn’t much we don’t already have.  However saying that, we don’t…

Graco Evo Avant & Snug Ride i-Size Car Seat Review

I may have mentioned before I have a bit of a pushchair obsession.  I know the reason behind it, when I was pregnant with O I was lucky enough to win an online competition for a full travel system and our car seat and pushchair arrived, complete with a carrycot for a newborn.  The only problem was that it wasn’t what I personally would have chosen and I think I felt a bit robbed of the whole process of choosing the pram I wanted for my new baby.  Common sense (and money) meant that it would have been daft to…

Gertie The Good Goose Review

We escaped relatively unscathed when O was teething.  Apart from an odd day here or there his first teeth appeared without too much fuss.  Obviously I had bought a rather well known giraffe to help him through the teething pain but it was never really needed. G is a completely different baby to my eldest, they always say you don’t get two the same, and my boys are living proof of this.  G is a lot more vocal than O ever was and I feared teething would not be the mild experience we had had five years earlier.  Like his brother…

Fisher Price Laugh and Learn Jumperoo Review

When I was pregnant the first time I read every mother and baby magazine out there religiously.  I made lists of what we needed and bought almost everything off it.  The planner in me kicked in and I wanted to be prepared for every eventuality.  Somehow a Jumperoo passed me by.  Maybe it was because it was one of those items you don’t need for a newborn and in my pregnant state I was focusing on those first few weeks. My sister in law opened my eyes to the wonder of a Jumperoo as she had one for my nephew…
