Fisher Price Laugh and Learn Jumperoo Review

When I was pregnant the first time I read every mother and baby magazine out there religiously.  I made lists of what we needed and bought almost everything off it.  The planner in me kicked in and I wanted to be prepared for every eventuality.  Somehow a Jumperoo passed me by.  Maybe it was because it was one of those items you don’t need for a newborn and in my pregnant state I was focusing on those first few weeks. My sister in law opened my eyes to the wonder of a Jumperoo as she had one for my nephew…

Embracing Disney With Character Clothing

I have to admit in the past I have not been the biggest fan of character clothing.  In my head I had the image of huge prints that looked like they had been stuck on poor quality t-shirts.  My mum laughed at me when I insisted O would never be wearing character clothes.  Obviously she realised I was saying one of those daft things people say before they actually have kids because the reality is children actually really like wearing their favourite cartoon characters on their clothes.  O was on cloud nine for about a week when I bought him…

Disney Cars Mack Truck Playset Review

The garden is one of our favourite features of the house.  It’s one of the reasons we are planning the extension, to make the most of the garden as it’s currently accessed by one single door.  As the boys grow older I can see us spending most of the summer in the back of the house and outdoors.  We have gradually been adding to our garden game collection over the past few years but as O is getting a little older, it’s time for some entertainment that is a little more grown up. O first played Jenga last year at…

Rejuvenate Skin Clinic Review

Being a mum of two, especially when the youngest is only 8 months old, means that there isn’t too much me-time going on.  When I was invited by the Rejuvenate Skin Clinic in Manchester to pop along and have a try of a couple of their treatments I jumped at the chance.  I arranged for my mum to have G whilst O was at school and I headed to the Northern Quarter for a few hours being pampered. I had been in contact with Leena (the clinic manager) prior to the day to discuss what treatments I would be interested…
