Snuggle Sac Review

Some of my favourite childhood memories involve sleeping bags.  My brother and I had matching ones and we had hours of entertainment with them.  Sliding down the stairs in them with our cousins or putting them over our heads to play worms (a game we made up that involved catching people and guessing who it was whilst you couldn’t see as the sleeping bag was on your head!)  As we got older and started to have friends over for sleepovers the sleeping bags would be wheeled out. We were recently asked if we would like to review a Snuggle Sac…

Fisher-Price Rainforest Deluxe Gym Review

One of my must have buys with a new baby is a play gym.  As babies gradually start to gain interest in toys a gym in the perfect play to lie them so they can see the bright colours around them.  For me the brighter the better. We had a play gym for O and we dug it out of storage when G came along.  Sadly it looked a little worse for wear as I started to remember how we had lost several of the toy attachments as we had taken them off for O to play with separately.  When…

Go Jetters Toy Review

The Go Jetters wasn’t really a programme I was aware of.  It wasn’t something we watched at home but it turns out that it was a programme that O watched at Nana’s with his cousin, and they were both huge fans.  It was the one show that they wouldn’t bicker over and would both sit down calmly to watch, and sing along with the theme tune to. House of Frasers Menswear Review

It’s a running joke between my husband and I about the state of his wardrobe.  He’s a man who thinks he’s being colourful if he’s wearing white.  The rest of his clothes are mostly blue, black or grey.  I have actually lost count of how many grey jumpers he owns.  Last Christmas I bought him a cardigan to add a splash of brightness, it went down like a lead balloon (and still remains in the bottom of my wardrobe as I missed the deadline to send it back). When I was recently contact by House of Fraser to review an…

Mamas & Papas Review

Mamas & Papas was probably the first baby shop I went into when I found out I was expecting O.  A store had recently opened in The Trafford Centre and I found myself wandering around there excited, and a little overwhelmed, with how much choice there was.  Our first purchases for O were made from there, a beautiful multi-coloured blanket and a couple of teddies, which are now living in G’s room. After that first visit I was in love and spent hours browsing the Mamas & Papas website.  Our nursery furniture was chosen from there and it was decorated…
