My husband rarely gets involved in my blog, he’s not really that interested (although he does on occasions pretend to be) but when we contacted recently and asked if we wanted to work with Jacamo he suddenly had a change of heart.
We were asked if we (well, he not we) would like to review some of their range and although Jacamo was a brand I had heard of it wasn’t one either of us had shopped with before so were keen to take a look at what was on offer.
We were immediately impressed with the range of not just clothes, but the list of brands that were available through the Jacamo website. They also have a home section with a definite male focus which my husband loved. There wasn’t a floral mug to be seen!
My husband spent a lot of time browsing the pages, he was very spoilt for choice, but eventually decided on a navy jacket and a pair of walking boots. His choices sum up my husband perfectly, a jacket for work and boots for play.
The jacket was from the brand Joe Brown and goes perfectly with his suits, even my mother in law commented on what a lovely jacket it was. It is a wool mix blend and has a gorgeous paisley print lining which matches the handkerchief in detail on the front. There are plenty of pockets too to make sure that my husbands wallet, phone and keys are all safe.
We were a little surprised to find such a great pair of boots on the website but it does go to show how extensive the range of products is. Walking bots have been on my husbands wish list for a long time. He does a lot of walking, he’ll quite often disappear for a couple of hours having gone out for a long walk often without the appropriate footwear. He has been testing the boots out over the Easter holiday, he was a little worried they would rub the first time of wearing them but this wasn’t the case at all. They are really comfy and not a blister in sight.
Whilst Jacamo may not really have been on our radar before, it definitely is now, and somewhere I’ll be heading when I need a gift for the men in my life.
Disclosure: We were gifted these items for the purpose of this review but all thoughts and opinions are my own.
