So my boy started school! He has been a superstar this week and seems to have settled in well and be enjoying himself. He is absolutely exhausted though, and for a boy who is usually awake between 6-6:30am he didn’t wake up this morning until 7:30. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that we may get a lie in tomorrow!

Far too many letters from O’s school. Almost every day he has come home with numerous letters in his book bag, and there’s also a school app that we’ve downloaded to pass on information. It’s all a bit overwhelming as a first time school mum. It makes me even more happy that I am not working myself, I need some time to get my head around it.

We made Superhero Fairy Cakes this week, and O may have had a bit of a meltdown because his Dad ate the Wonder Woman cake he had been saving for Grandma.

I’ve been wearing my summer dresses this week as after this weekend I think I’ll be packing them away for the winter. Hasn’t it been a gorgeous week? It definitely makes the school run a lot more enjoyable.
Heard
The lovely and wonderful news of our family’s newest member. My brother had a baby girl on Monday. She’s beautiful and it’s nice to have another female in the family. Me and G went to visit her on Wednesday and I’m hoping the two become firm friends as there is only 15 weeks between them.
And Lastly…
Last Sunday my teacher friends and I had arranged a play date for the kids as we didn’t manage to all meet up together during the summer holidays. When I arrived at my friends house I was greeted with a glass of Prosecco and she had laid on a full girly afternoon tea. The children played in the sunshine and we sat and chatted, sipping Prosecco whilst eating finger sandwiches and munching on cake.
I’m off to an 80’s night later, and have been bullied into fancy dress so check out my IG stories later if you fancy a giggle.

Ahhh your little ones are so cute cuddles together. There is only 15 months between me and my cousins too and we are so close. Lovely to have that extra female in the family too.
