I love to watch my son sleep. Now that’s he’s a fully fledged toddler he’s more often than not on the go, playing with his cars, helicopters and balloons or just dancing away to Miley Cyrus ( he made me play We Can’t Stop 5 times on repeat yesterday, and sulked when I refused to play it a 6th time).
I’m well aware that at some point in the next 12 months his afternoon nap times may become a thing of the past so I’m treasuring these moments while we still have them. Little O loves his kip and like his mum can fall asleep pretty much anywhere. It is so precious to watch his little face so at peace with the deep rhythmic breathing that comes when he’s asleep.
I know I’m biased but he looks like an angel! Wonder if I’ll be saying the same thing in 15 years time when he’s still asleep at midday after a night on the pop?
Funny the 15 years time thing. It’s not so marked in girls but boys change so much physically in that time.
I can’t imagine him in 5 years time, the thought of him as a proper big teenager terrifies me!
Ahh he does look like a little angel! F stopped napping just before he was 2 i was gutted!
I dread the day he stops napping. I love that hour to have a cup of tea and catch up on twitter!

lol – now i have 2 it makes no odds anyway 😉 #thosewerethedays
Haha, that’s why I plan on making the most of it xx
My boys stopped napping when they turned two, I’m hoping to get a bit longer out of the wee girl 🙂 They do look angelic when they sleep xx #OrdinaryMoments
Long live the afternoon nap!!!
I am lucky that my almost three year old sleeps still but she will only sleep in her bed. Never on the sofa or in the buggy. So I am really strict about the routine as we all benefit from it. It is cute that he can sleep anywhere. How old is he? And he does most certainly look like an angel. x
