This picture popped up on my Timehop this week and I couldn’t help but smile when I saw it. This is one of my favourites pics of me and O and I remember the day it was taken so clearly.
It was the first warm day of Spring and we had been out for a walk and popped into the pub on the way home. The beer garden was packed but we managed to find a table and sat enjoying the sunshine.
O was 18 months at the time and on that day it struck me how much older he seemed, although looking now he still looks like the baby I remember. I loved this age, he was a late walker so still very reliant on me but was communicating and his personality was really shining through.
Now he’d be running round the beer garden with a football but on that day he was happy to stand next to me playing with my G&T straw, still very much my baby.
Such a cute picture. You have so much love in your face for your little man x

Awww!! That’s a lovely captured moment. I remember I always thought my eldest looked very grown up, but now when I see pictures, actually she didn’t. This is a lovely picture of you both xx

Aww, look at his little face. Such a cute photo. It’s amazing that we look at our children and think that they seem so big, but then they get bigger and bigger and more grown-up. *sob* xx #capturedmoment

Such a beautiful captured moment and love the way you are looking at O in it. That stage when they were still content just to sit next to you is so lovely – and goes so quickly!

This looks like one of those ‘perfect days’ photos. Sun shining, beer garden, beautiful baby in your lap. I love the way you’re looking at your gorgeous boy. Thanks for linking up to #MyCapturedMoment xx
