Love The Little Things #9/10

Having missed last week as I was a bit overwhelmed looking after a little spotty boy I’ve decided to combine weeks 9 and 10 and focus on the positives of the past 2 weeks so here goes:

Read I’ve been trying to make more of an effort to read more blogs over the past couple of weeks, and I’ve developed a new blog crush.  I love Life At The Little Wood, a great blog written by Emma.  If you haven’t popped over yet, I suggest you do.  You won’t be disappointed.

Watched For the past week the TV has mostly been tuned into Cbeebies or NickJnr (pooly toddler gets remote control privileges) so I’ve spent a lot of my time watching Tree Fu Tom or Paw Patrol.  When O has been napping I’ve switched over to How I Met Your Mother.  As usual I’m way behind and can’t believe I’m only just discovering this fab programme during its last series.  At least I’ve got lots to catch up on!

Heard Now that Little O has been getting back to his old self, he has been taking the chance to show off his superb dancing skills.  His favourite song to dance to is Miley Cyrus: We Can’t Stop so it’s been on repeat.  I’m not saying I love the song, but I love watching O’s reaction to it so I’ll always have a soft spot for it.

Made A playroom!  Well okay, I didn’t actually make a playroom but now that the weather is starting to turn a little bit warmer I did transform our neglected conservatory into a playroom.  O loves it as he can jump from toy to toy and leave his own little path of destruction, and I love the way we can close the door on it once he’s finished playing.

Wore I have a bit of a scarf addiction and treated myself to this new scarf from New Look. I love it’s cute print although the kids at school now think I have an owl obsession because my pencil case is covered in owls too.

And lastly… The very best thing about this week hearing the news at the hospital that I am perfectly normal. We’ve been prescribed some fertility pills and I’m really hopeful that we will have some wonderful news to share before too long!

Aww, bless your wee cotton socks – I am chuffed to bits to get a little mention. Honestly, thankyou so much! I hope that the pox are on the way out now – my 3 had them in 2 week relays last year. I can totally sympathise!! So much loveliness otherwise though – such a cute scarf, (I do love a woodland animal) and what wonderful hospital news – I’ll be following your journey from here on in with bated breath. Thankyou again poppet, and have a lovely weekend! E x
