We’ve been having a bit of a quiet week here as my little man had been poorly with gastroenteritis since last Friday. It all kicked off with him creeping into our bed at 1am and then proceeding to throw up all over it (it was fresh bedding too!) So last weekend was spent cuddling on the couch and not really venturing far from home!
Read Apart from a bit of blog catching up, not very much. I even bought myself a couple of magazines in preparation for a weekend at home but then never got round to reading them. They’ll be my train entertainment on the way to Birmingham for Blogcamp tomorrow!
Watched With absolutely nothing else we fancied watching on Monday night we flicked on The Walking Dead to see what all the fuss was about. We were hooked straight away, even though I watched most of it from behind my hands. As it was the start of series 5 and we are way behind a friend of ours is going to lend us the previous box sets so we can catch up.
Heard Some not so fantastic performances on the first X-Factor live show. A couple of the acts that I’d been looking forward to watching weren’t any great shakes, so overall a bit disappointing!
Made I had all good intentions of making a Lemon Meringue cake yesterday but the day flew by and as I was due in school for our college open evening it didn’t end up happening.
O did make another wonderful artistic creation!
Wore On Saturday night I popped round to my friends house for a wine, pizza and x-factor night. As she only lives a 5 minute walk away, and it was a cold night, it was the perfect excuse to get my winter coat out for the first time. It was a little treat to myself last year from Boden and I still love it just as much this year, it’s so warm and cosy.
And lastly… This one is a little bit sad but one of the most fun things this week was discovering Tesco’s scan and shop. It reminded me of creating my John Lewis wedding list (although obviously not quite as amazing as that is) but it kept O entertained on a supermarket trip!
And that was our week, hope you’ve had a good one and see you next Friday!
Such an amazing coat Jo! I bought Eva the girls version from Boden this year and can’t wait until it’s cold enough for her to wear it! Oh poor wee O! Hope he’s feeling a bit brighter now – that old bug seems to be doing the rounds. So rotten! Have a lovely weekend chicky xx
I wasn’t overly enamoured with X-Factor either although Andrea is my favourite without a doubt! Your winter coat is gorgeous, I’d find reasons to wear it all year long lol. Have a great weekend and hope your little one is on the mend soon. #littleloves

Sorry to hear that you have been poorly in your house 🙁 Hope you are all on the mend now.
Also I love a bit of self-scanning. So much quicker and it keeps the kidlets entertained!

Oh bless, it is horrid when the little ones are ill, and worse if vomit is involved! I don’t think we have Tesco scan and shop here but it sounds brilliant, although I suspect I could be tempted to buy too much if I didn’t notice the trolley filling up! #littleloves

We are HUGE walking dead fans. Such a brutal opening. We have watched them all, you definitely need to catch up on them hon. This season start was the most brutal I have seen it to be. I couldn’t believe the opening scene. Yuk. I hope little one is feeling better and enjoy today x
