Love The Little Things #31

I’m a little bit late with this weeks Little Loves, but I can’t quite believe how quickly the days are flying by. You can tell it’s the summer holidays, especially now that the lovely weather has made way for a whole lot of rain!

Read I’m slightly embarassed that despite being off I still don’t seem to have had time to pick up a book. I’ve been trying to catch up on a bit of blog reading and am constantly amazed at how many wonderful writers there are out there. One of my favourite posts this week was one by Alison at Complicated Gorgeousness – When Your Pregnancy Blows Up In Your Face. So beautifully written and honest.

Watched It had to happen sooner or later, but for the first time this week I watched Frozen. Okay, okay, now I get what all the fuss was about, I was hooked. Off to buy the DVD later!

Heard The constant commentary by my little chatterbox. O has always been quite a good talker, he is living proof of that saying “they’re either a walker or a talker”. He was a very late walker! I love that we can now have little conversations, and he remembers everything!

Made Some holiday plans (or rearranged holiday plans). We were supposed to be going to Egypt for a week at October half term, but for personal reasons it’s not the best time so we’ve put it back 12 months. We went to the same resort when O was 6 months and it was one of our best holidays ever. You can’t help but feel happy when you’re waking up to this every morning!

Wore As we’ve been mostly housebound this week (and with the weather turning) I haven’t bee wearing anything that’s worth mentioning. However, I have been loving O in his new Cath Kidston PJ’s. So cute and on sale too!

And lastly…this week we have started Potty Training and at the start of this week I thought I was about to have a meltdown as a result. We have had a small improvement as the weeks gone on and managed a few wee wees in the potty and even a poo. You know you’re a mum when you’re high-fiving a turd!

Love his PJ’s. We went to Egypt a few years ago & loved it too,we stayed at the Marriott in Sharem El Sheik, other than our honeymoon it was probably the most luxurious holiday we had! We are also loving Frozen at the minute, #littleloves, have a lovely weekend xxx

Good luck with the potty training. Somehow we managed to toilet train both kids without any drama. Minimal accidents, no wet beds and no potties either. We went straight to the ‘grown-up’ toilet!
