Love The Little Things #12

This week has been a bit crazy.  With 3 members of my department off sick at work, just as we are about to embark on exam season, it’s a bit manic to say the least!

Read In the spirit of trying to read a bit more, with the Easter hols coming up I may actually manage it, I have treated myself to a new book.  50p from the charity book stall, I do love a bargain.  I’ve read a few Jane Green books before and really like them so looking forward to getting stuck into this one.  Not quite a read, but more I’m going to read!

Watched On Saturday night hubby switched on what looked to be a pretty terrible film.  This Is The End with James Franco, Seth Rogen, Jonah Hill and a few others.  It was a spoof about a group of celebrities having a party at James Francos house when the end of the world hit.  It was so daft, but that’s what made it good and I actually ended up really enjoying it.

Heard I’ve been loving listening to Katie B’s Crying For No Reason this week.  I do try to sing along when I’m in my car, as long as no one else is present.  Believe me, it’s not a good sound!

Made I’m trying to make an effort to do more activities with O and this week we have made chocolate krispie coated strawberries.  He loved the dipping and rolling and was so excited to tell his Daddy what he’d been up to when he came home for lunch, very cute!

Wore I’m still sporting my bright pink nails from last week, and have been pulling out my ballet pumps from the back of the wardrobe as the weather is attempting to get a little brighter.  I love ballet pumps and normally have about 4 pairs on the go at any one time during Spring/Summer.

And lastly…I went to visit my bestie work mate yesterday.  She is off work at the moment with a very bad back and will be for the next couple of months.  I’m missing her desperately but was fab to have a good catch up over a coffee.  I’m very jealous of her fancy coffee machine, I need to get myself one of those!

Haha, I was exactly the same. I reluctantly let hubby put it on and he fell asleep and I watched it though to the end! x

The book looks like it could be a good one, let me know what you think after you’ve finished it!
