Today is the last day of school before the Easter hols. The Easter break is one of my faves, the weather is just staring to get better, it’s not as hectic as Xmas and we have the annual Good Friday meal with all best friends (plus an increasing number of kids). Anyway, this is all to come so let’s have a look at what we’ve been loving this week.
Read My beautiful Mothers Day card my little man made for me at nursery. He also felt the need to explain to me exactly how he’d made it, which was just too cute!
Watched On Sunday night I made the fatal error of starting to watch a film at around 10pm with the intention of just watching half an hour or so. Despite already having seen The Notebook several times, and owning the DVD, I ended watching the whole thing. Heading off to bed at gone midnight on a school night is not a wise move, but totally worth it for such a gorgeous film!
Heard I think it’s the hint of summer and the fact that it’s a good driving in your car song, but I’ve been loving Enrique and Pit Bulls new song. Pit Bull makes me laugh as his name really doesn’t match up with what he looks like but I do really like his songs so I’ll learn to live with it. (please excuse the semi-naked ladies in the video)
Made Honestly, not very much. A few gin & tonics to celebrate Mothers Day and that’s about is. Hoping to have lots more to choose from after a week at home with O next week. On second thoughts, that might drive me to more Gins, so let’s wait and see!
Wore Okay, this isn’t something I have worn but what O has been sporting this week. Damn the supermarkets for putting those ball dropping kiddie tat machines at the end of the aisles, but it does provide excellent leverage for good behaviour during a shopping trip. He has loved his “watch” and has insisted on wearing it all week. Quite a bargain for only £1!
And lastly…After our first round of Letrozole (fertility drugs) I headed off to the hospital on Monday for a blood test to see whether they’d had the desired effect. I rang on Wednesday for the results and the lovely nurse told me I had a Progesterone level of 68 (apparently that’s pretty good). This means I am definitely ovulating! It would seem the drugs are doing their job so we just need to do ours now and wait to see what happens xx
