You Can Always Find The #LittleLoves

To be honest I almost didn’t join in this week. It feels like it has been, because there are no other words to describe it, a bit of meh week. One that you focus on getting through. But then I realised I was losing the point of the linky that I love so much. Even in what feels like the crappest of weeks there are some small moments that make you happy, and actually when I sit down to look at it there has been quite a few.

This week I have had the attention span of a 3 year old and have struggled to even get to the end of a slightly longer than normal blog post. One post I did read this week was for Yellow Belly Mummy, In Praise Of The NHS. I actually read it on Monday when I was heading back to the hospital and I couldn’t agree more. Maybe I’m lucky, but I have received such wonderful care over the past few years from the NHS and the nurses have been amazing.

Last Sunday morning I made a last minute decision to take O to the cinema. After flicking on my phone I found that our local Cineworld was showing Planes 2 for the bargain price of £1.35 each. I quickly booked me and O tickets, got us up and dressed and off we went. O loves the original Planes, I’ve lost count of how many times he’s watched it and he loved the second. I love spending a bit of quality time holding my little boys hand watching his little face light up at what Dusty is up to.

I have been the queen of comfy pants this week so really nothing to report. I did buy some new socks which I think are quite pretty (I know, I’m clutching at straws!)

I’ve heard Meghan Trainors new song quite a few times this week and it has really grown on me.

A bit of a change in our living room. We have a really lovely open fire, that it just dawned on me that we keep covered up both of the time with a great big fireguard. Obviously we need it when the fire is in but when it’s not it really doesn’t need to be there, so I’ve moved it out of the way and replaced it with some gorgeous flowers I got sent to review this week from Debenhams. Aren’t they beautiful?

And Lastly…
What I have loved the most about the past week is being able to spend so much time with O. We haven’t been rushing round and he’s loved having Mummy around a little bit more. On Sunday we went to our lovely local pub for dinner, the food in there is so delicious and it was the perfect way to end a weekend.

Have a lovely week and see you all next Friday! xxx

Sorry that it’s been a bit of a meh week. You’re right though, writing up the little loves post always reminds me of the good things that happened that are often easily forgotten. I love a good trip to the cinema with the kids, it always helps me when I’m getting stressed or the girls are bored. Super bargain price aswell! Hope you have a good weekend xx

My weeks been a bit like that, but as you say you can still find the good among the not so good things. I’ve never braved taking my little one to the cinema, perhaps I should as he would love it! Those flowers are beautiful, perfect place to show them off too when you’re not using the fire. Hope next week is better for you. Have a great weekend! #littleloves

I feel you this week, agree it’s been one of those weeks where you just don’t seem to have the energy to do anything much.

I am sorry you had a rough week. I love the “juniors” showings at Cineworld. I think my husband may take daughter to Planes 2. I love the price because if little one gets bored, you can leave and not feel bad. Beautiful flowers brighten up your home for sure. I hope you have a better week.

Your clutching at straws with the socks made me laugh! There is nothing better than a comfy or pretty pair of socks and they need appreciating. Thanks for sharing them. I am a huge NHS fan – I have always received fantastic care and advice. I blumming love it and I can’t believe it’s free! Those flowers are stunning and £1.35 for the cinema? It would be rude not to! x
