Snowy Days, Cosy Hats and Baby Kicks #LittleLoves

Friday came around quickly this week didn’t it?  So who else had snow last weekend, we had a fair bit on Saturday night and O loved seeing it on Sunday morning.  Everything always looks a little bit magical with a sprinkling of snow, doesn’t it?

Here’s what we’ve been loving this week.

Read

I really haven’t read anything this week.  We spent Sunday morning playing in the snow and then a lovely pregnancy migraine hit and then all I wanted to do was lie down in a darkened room.  There have been lots of early nights this week so not much time for reading but we have a very quiet weekend planned so hoping to have more for this section next week.

Watched

We had our 20 week scan on Tuesday and so we were able to watch our baby boy having a good wiggle around.  I could sit and watch for hours.  I’ve been feeling movements for a few weeks but they are getting stronger and I’m pretty sure I felt my first proper kick on Wednesday night.  Hopefully, my husband and O will be able to feel them soon too.

Made

It couldn’t be anything else other than a snowman man this week could it?  It may not have been very big or fancy but it was O’s first snowman and he was so proud!

Wore

Winter woollies, and any excuse to wear my bobble hat.  It is so cosy and keeps my head lovely and warm.

Heard

I’m still loving Justin Bieber, especially Love Yourself.  You will find me most mornings belting it out in my car on the way to work.  It’s a good job I don’t have to car share, I’m a terrible singer!

And Lastly…

O can be quite a fussy eater and it is a concern of mine that he seems so reluctant to try new things.  When I picked him up from nursery this week he had been given a sticker to say well done for trying some cabbage at dinner time.  It may sound silly but it makes me very proud that he is starting to try more foods as it’s something we’ve been really working on with him at home.  Yay, for the little things!

And that was our week, hope you have a good one and see you next Friday. xxx

Ahh pregnancy migraines are the worst, I had such a bad one when I was pregnant with Tiger, had to spend about two days in bed and when it started and my vision went I was terrified! x

Loving the snow man! We only had enough for snow balls here, boo.
I don’t blame you wanting to sit and watch your baby wriggle for hours, it’s fascinating isn’t it?
And well done O for trying the cabbage!

Well done for O for trying cabbage! I’ve got a fussy eater (well 2 if you count the 14 year old) here too so it’s always good when they try new things. My little one’s sat next to me and just saw O’s snowman, he’s rather jealous as we never get any snow, not that I’m complaining! Have a great weekend x

Love your scarf! And pregnancy migraines are the worst, I suffered with them a lot in my first trimester so I fully sympathise. x
