Snow, Sun and a Little Bit Of Hope #LittleLoves

It’s all been a bit quiet here on Not A Frumpy Mum for the past couple of weeks. Partly down to a few technical problems (bloomin’ internet) and partly down to life getting in the way of me having time to sit down and spend some quality time with my laptop.

There are times when, as much as I love blogging, it does need to take a back seat because there are simply not enough hours in the day to do everything that I want and something has to give. For the past couple of weeks it has been this.

So for the past couple of weeks this is what we have been loving:

Read
At work we are in the middle of what seems a never-ending mountain of marking, so it feels like the only thing I have read is kids work.

Watched
The snow! I love watching snow fall, especially when you don’t really have to be anywhere so yesterday was my perfect day. Hot chocolates whilst watching some big, fat flakes come down.

Heard
I love how chatty O is becoming and I love how a three year olds mind works. My favourite question of the week has to be this:
“Mummy is it Christmas again because it’s snowing?”
Awwww, although I think this may have been a sneaky ploy to get more presents!

Made
Some holiday plans.  It feels like we have been putting so much on hold for the past couple of years and our holidays have been a few days here and there in not so sunny Wales, or a week at the in-laws villa in Spain.  We are so lucky to have this as an option but ultimately it is a holiday with the in-laws so we are really excited to be going away as just a threesome.

Wore
Our wellies!  With the snow falling this week it was time to get the wellies out for the pre-school run.

And Lastly…
I saw this quote on Pinterest and it sums up perfectly where we are at the minute, but I have hope it will all be okay in the end!

I know what you mean with the whole life/blogging saga, it’s so hard finding the right balance between it all and like you say, sometimes something has to give. Life gets in the way occasionally but that’s perfectly ok! Have a lovely weekend sweetie xxx #LittleLoves

That’s so cute what our little one asked about if its Christmas again. So funny how their little minds work.

Great quote! I’m really loving all the snow pics this week, as we’ve not had any at all (which is odd for us!)

    Have a great weekend xx

I am struggling with blogging at the minute, I find I am only doing linky’s and not posts I actually want to write! I’m sure it will all balance out again soon!
    Love that quote!

Yay for a snow day, G had so much fun. I love the school picture, no protractor, cheeky sausage. It is tricky sometimes getting the balance right. It’s like a full time job some days isn’t it. x

I can totally relate with blogging having to take a back seat sometimes, it’s definitely that way for me at the moment too. You just can’t do everything.
My youngest thought that it would be Christmas again because it snowed too, haha. Love the way their brains work. Hope you’re having a good week lovely xx
