I’ve missed the past couple of weeks of my normal Little Loves post, I actually started last weeks but then got distracted half way through and didn’t get around to finishing it. I do have a pretty good excuse though!
Our new addition to the family has been keeping me busy and we’ve been living in a lovely newborn bubble where whole days are lost sitting on the couch staring at this delicious squishy face.
Read
Lots of information from O’s new primary school. We are well into the transition stage at the moment, O went for lunch on Wednesday and has his first settling in session next Thursday. Last night we had the new parents meeting and we have a full folder of paperwork to read through. It’s such an exciting time and O is more than ready for school, I’m really looking forward to all the tales he is going to come back telling me.
Watched
What haven’t I watched? I have spent the past couple of weeks trapped on the couch with a newborn who doesn’t like to be put down. I finished all of American Horror Story: The Murder House series when I was pregnant, and have now moved onto The Coven and I am equally hooked.
I know I am a week late on this one but how good was the Peaky Blinders finale?? The only problem is we’ll now have to wait months to see what happens next.
Made
Well, we only went and made a person! I know I’m biased but isn’t he gorgeous?? We are completely head over heels in love with him.
Wore
Nothing too exciting to report here, I’m mostly wearing my maternity jeans and t-shirts. I have treated myself to a couple of new dresses (my excuse was that I needed some breast feeding friendly clothes), but they are a little tight around the belly area for the minute but they should fit soon, fingers crossed. This is probably my favourite from Warehouse.
Heard
Mostly, O jibber jabbering. Honestly, he never stops talking and has to have the last word on everything. I’m loving being at home with him and getting to spend this time listening to his jibber jabber before he starts school.
And Lastly…
At the moment the days are blurring into one. As I can’t drive most of my time is spent at home with the odd potter out with the pram, or to drop O off at pre school. They are the most ordinary of days, but so amazingly wonderful at the same time. I am loving just being mum to my two gorgeous boys.
I bet O is a super proud big brother, and I really am so happy for you. Having two boys myself, I have an idea of what lies ahead for you, tears, tantrums, and the proudest and happiest moments of your life! I hope you have a great week!

O is very proud and thinks that everything Doc does is hilarious, apart from the crying! xx

Love this Jo, I’m so happy for you and your family. He is such a little cutie.
I can’t believe O is starting school in September! That’s come around so fast. If he’s anything like my two were I bet he cannot wait to start.
Have a lovely weekend xx

He’s really excited which makes me start to get excited for him. He is more than ready to go, I think he gets bored with me at home at the minute so he will love being at school. xx

The only downside is that it is a bit too tight at the minute but didn’t want to buy it to fit now as (hopefully) I won’t be this size for too much longer. Definitely treat yourself, you deserve it. xx

Aww, thank you so much for saying that although I feel that my blog is a little neglected at the minute. We are starting to find our feet a little now so may have a bit more time to spend on it in the next few weeks. xx
