I’m normally very excited that it’s Friday but this week it makes me a little bit sad because it marks the start of the end of the half term holiday. I’ve had a lovely time with O during the past week, he really is at a great age and it’s been such good fun spending time with him this week.
Read
I really need to work on this one more for next week. Apart from some blog reading and a lot of googling I haven’t read too much. I’m off to the supermarket later so might treat myself to a book.
Watched
On Tuesday I took O to the cinema for the first time. I was a little bit nervous as to whether he would sit happily for an entire film but I needn’t have worried. We went to watch Big Hero 6 and we both loved it.
We’ve also eventually got round to ordering Netflix so I’ve started watching Orange Is The New Black. I’m 6 episodes in and loving it so far.
Heard
The cutest thing I heard this week was O telling his cousin off for kicking me. Just to be clear, he was only playing, but O really didn’t like it.
“Stop that, that’s my mummy!”
My heart just melted, little love, looks like I have a mini bodyguard on my hands.
Made
A three year old very happy with a 20p tractor ride.
The plan for Valentines Day was that I would cook a home made romantic dinner, but when M&S do a special dine in for 2 which includes beef wellington, fizzy wine and the most amazing profiteroles I’ve ever had for twenty quid it hardly seems worthwhile doing it myself.
Wore
Our wellies as we headed off for a walk with some friends and their kids on Sunday. O loved having some other boys to play with. It didn’t really matter it took us an hour to walk about 500 metres.
And lastly…
I do love an inspirational quote at the minute and this is what I keep telling myself!
We want to take our son to see Big Hero 6 as everyone says it’s amazing! Those profiteroles look delicious, love the Hunter wellies 🙂 xx #littleloves

Sounds like you’ve had a lovely half term! I’ve heard good things about Big Hero 6 but unfortunately my daughter isn’t so well behaved at the cinema!
I haven’t braved the cinema yet because my kids just can’t be quiet!! We are going to see Cinderella next month though, maybe they will surprise me. Your M&S meal looks and sounds lovely. So much better than having to cook yourself 🙂 Have a great last few days of the holidays x

We loved Big Hero 6 too. Amazing movie. The toys are all in Disney now too. Eek. I do love a winters walk. Don’t be too sad honey, enjoy your next two days without worry as the next little break isn’t too far away. I long for more than 25 days holiday but sadly it is not meant to be x

Awe his little face on that 20p ride is ace! I wish our rides were still 20p – we are looking at at least £1 here lately which is a shame!

I feel like I need to go and see Big Hero 6 solo…everyone is saying how wonderful it is. We had an M&S dine in too – hubs was supposed to be cooking but he was ill and I couldn’t be bothered. Such a good deal though and good variety! Nothing better than a 20p tractor ride – look at his gorgeous face! Hope you had a lovely weekend! xx
