I don’t think I need to try to tell you how excited I am that as of approximately 3pm (hopefully, leaving speeches depending!) I will be out of work and not really giving it a second thought for the next two weeks. After spending the past week marking 120 Year 11 mock papers I’m ready for the Christmas break!
Read To be honest, not that much. See above (bloody mocks) for the reason why. I’m looking forward to spending a bit of time this weekend catching up on all my favourite blogs.
Watched I have watched quite a bit this week. Obviously, the final part of The Missing. I don’t know about you but I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. I actually had a cushion to cuddle too!
Yesterday O went for his preschool initial visit and I watched him settle straight in and have a lovely time. It’s funny to think some of the children in that room may well go on to become life-long friends as they will (hopefully) all be going to the primary school across the road together.
And then yesterday afternoon I went to watch O in his nursery carol concert. It really wasn’t a concert, the pre-school room sang about 5 songs, but it was just too cute.
Heard Some wonderful (cough cough) singing, see above.
I’m also loving Uptown Funk by Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars, so catchy!
Made A Christmas tree! We eventually went to get our Christmas tree last Saturday and spent Saturday afternoon decorating it, with only one little disaster!
Panic over, the replacement is now with us, even if I am now too scared to put it on the tree!
Wore Christmas jumpers! Let’s get festive!
And lastly…Today me and the hubby are celebrating five years since we got married, so tonight we are going for a fancy meal (just the two of us) to one of our favourite restaurants. A perfect way to kick off the Christmas celebrations.
Have a wonderful week and an absolutely amazing Christmas. Thank you for reading my little loves for the past year, I’ve loved writing them.
