I can’t believe we’re at week 48 already, it feels like this year has just flown by, but I am excited for the start of December and getting into all things Christmassey.
I’m going to apologise in advance for my little loves this week as they may be a more than one dubious links, I’m honestly not too sure what I’ve been doing with myself.
Read Oh dear, hardly anything. I have a lot of blog reading and commenting to catch up on but this week I have been so tired. There have been lots of early nights so missing out on my blog reading time.
Watched All my usuals, The Walking Dead, The Missing and The Apprentice. Did you see The Missing this week? It’s so hard to watch but compelling viewing at the same time.
I did watch my little man meeting Father Christmas at our local primary schools Christmas fair. It was very sweet!
Heard The news that a gorgeous and lovely friends baby girl arrived very early at just 24 weeks and 6 days. She is doing well but it’s not going to be an easy journey and they’ve all been on my mind a lot this week. Sending all my thoughts, love and prayers their way at the moment.
Made A start on O’s advent calendar. He doesn’t like chocolate so there was little point in getting him a Cadburys one but I have made him a calendar where he has a little treat to open every day in the run up to Christmas. The reason why it isn’t finished is that I can’t remember where I put the bag that has the majority of the little presents in. Oops!
Wore I’ve been trying to keep to not buying many new clothes, and instead been mixing and matching things I already have in my wardrobe. This has been working out really well as I’ve found some lovely new outfits out of items I wouldn’t necessarily have thought of putting together.
I have however treated myself to a new skirt for the festive season. I really loved the dress of the same material but worried it might be a bit too much and I wasn’t sure how much wear I’d get out of it, but when I saw the skirt I couldn’t resist.
And lastly…Last Saturday we had a girlie day out to celebrate a friends 40th birthday (I’m the baby of the group at 35!) It was such a fab day. Lots of cocktails, Prosecco and gossip. And we saw Peter Barlow from Corrie in Manchester. Not exactly Brad Pitt, but better looking in the flesh than he seems on tele!
And that was our week. I’m very excited for the 1st December and getting our little Elf on the Shelf back out, and seeing O’s face when he sees his advent calendar. Please tell me I’m not the only one getting very giddy!
I really must get a move on with sorting out my girls’ Advent calendar, why is everything I do so last minute?!
That skirt looks gorgeous, perfect for this time of year xx

Gorgeous little loves, my little skirt twinny! 🙂 I love little O’s face when he met Santa. It’s so magical when they are tiny, isn’t it? Your girlie day sounds so lovely, as does the Advent calendar. I’m sure O will love it! Have a brill weekend sweetpea xx

That skirt looks perfect for this time of year. I’m glad I’m not the only one who seems to lose weeks, as they fly by, so busy, yet I am often left wondering what I actually achieved. Love the Santa photo. Have a fab weekend, and sending best wishes for your friend and her baby x

Great #littleloves. It’s made me think that next year I’m defitnetly going to make more of an effort with a homemade advent calendar and I’m going to invest in an elf on the shelf, I think next year Amelia should have some understanding of Christmas.
Gorgeous skirt, and I’m very jealous of your drinks!!! This is my second Christmas pregnant…..I really need to plan my pregnancies better, really missing out!!
Hope you have a fab weekend xxx
