Without exaggerating last weekend was probably my best one of the year so far. A bit of me-time, a bit of couple time and lots of family time. I enjoyed every minute and spent a whole heap of time with all my favourite people.
Read Lots of lovely birthday messages from my family and friends. On Sunday we had a full family meal (there were fourteen of us in total) at Nutters restaurant and they had made special menus with Happy Birthday for the table which was a lovely surprise when we sat down.
Watched On Friday night we had a bit of a Walking Dead-a-thon and watched 5 episodes from Seasons 1 and 2 back to back. I think we may be doing the same tomorrow! And of course, I’m watching I’m A Celeb, love it!
Heard This is a bit of a cheat but I “heard” me and the hubster doing a little duet on Saturday night. It was our friends 40th and after a few drinks and a lovely meal in Manchester we headed to a bar where they have karaoke pods. We’ve been there a few times, and believe me when I tell you I’m not blessed with a the voice of an angel, but after a few drinks it is a good giggle. Anyway, hubby put on Fairytale of New York for us to have a sing along to. It was our second official dance song at our wedding so has a special little place in our hearts.
Made I’ve been a bit more in this department but after an awful lot of eating (and drinking) last week, we’re on a bit of a health kick so I did make a healthy chicken curry for dinner on Tuesday.
Wore My Whistles leather pencil skirt made it’s first outing of the winter season last Saturday night, and after being sick with a tummy bug the week before it was fitting a little bit better than usual. Every cloud, eh?
And lastly… On Monday we had a very important meeting. I’m really sorry that I’m not going to go into any more detail but for the first time in a very long time I’m feeling positive and I have hope.
Have a great week, see you little loves next Friday xxx
Please excuse the grainy iPhone photos, my lap top decided to throw a sicky in the middle of writing this post. I’m wishing it a full and speedy recovery!
