Love The Little Things #2

Back to reality this week as the Christmas break is well and truly over.  On the plus side, here are a few of the things I have been up to this week.

Read

toddler
I used to love reading a good book, but really struggling to find the time at the minute. What I have read this week is my little boys Welcome To The Toddler Room guide. He’s just started his initial visits this week so feeling a bit emotional that he’s going into the big kids room. I’m sure the new staff will be lovely but the ones in his tweenie room have been amazing and I’m going to really miss them as much as O will.

Watched
This week saw the return of Magaluf Weekender. There’s not that many programmed hubby and I both equally love, but this is one of them. Our joint guilty pleasure. It’s hilarious to watch and always reminds us both of the girls/lads holidays we used to go on once upon a time!

Heard
Apart from my 20 minute journey to and from work I don’t get to listen to music that much, especially since as soon as we’re awake Little O is in our room wanting CBeebies on. What did make me smile was hearing Walking On Sunshine being played on Radio 1 one morning this week. I used to love that song as a kid and it was a perfect one to wake up to.

Made
Banana and blueberry cake (for hubby not me!) It’s gluten free, and sugar free and whilst he loves it I’m not a fan. I do like making it for him though. I would have posted a picture but it really isn’t the prettiest of cakes.

Wore
It’s been the first week back in work after the lovely Christmas break so we’ve been having lots of (relatively) early nights and getting into our “comfy” gear straight from work clothes. So I have been lounging around in the lovely PJ bottoms my brother bought me from Fat Face for my birthday. I love them!

And lastly…
This week I have got to meet the newest member of our extended family. My aunties new miniature Schnauzer named Harry Potter. He’s gorgeous and settled in so well, and has put a great big smile back on my aunties face!

Love those pajamas! I love getting home from the school run with my girls, putting on our jamas and watching tv together, especially on these cold, wet nights.
Walking on Sunshine is a great song to wake up to, you can’t help but smile and sing along to it.
Thanks for joining in. Have a lovely weekend! xx

My comfy jobbers were getting into a bit of a sad state so in an attempt to be slightly less slobbish I’ve gone for nice PJ’s. I do love a comfy pair of pants x

Can’t get enough of comfy ‘dossing about the house’ clobber! The pj’s look great. Radio 1 hey?! I am way past that- Chris Evans all the way for me! I love this linky, need to remember it for next week…

I love this linky too, a great way to remember the good things about the week. We only listen to the radio for 5 mins before our little man comes in and insists on Milkshake!

Love your new pj bottoms, and of course loving the beautiful new addition, cool name!
I love popping my pjs on at the moment nothing more relaxing is there? I don’t get to listen to much music either! Your little one will be fine, I still miss my daughters nursery workers though lol xx

Hubby’s away with work tonight so I have been in my PJ’s since 5pm. I’m an even bigger slob when he nots here! x

I usually sit watching Magaluf Weekender with my mouth wide open. At least it’s not as bad as Geordie Shore 🙂
