Home Plans, Cosy Clothes & Trolls #LittleLoves

Where has the past week gone? It seems to have flown by and is over before it has barely begun.  It’s been another fairly chilled out week for us and I’m quite enjoying hibernating a bit whilst the weather has been so cold.

Read

Technically I haven’t read this but I did get to see the revised plans for our extension this week.  They look amazing and me and my husband are so excited about them.  We’re still a year away from starting but hopefully by summer 2018 the work should be complete!

Here’s a bit of a sneak preview of what the back of the house will look like, we’re planning on a rear extension so that we can have a kitchen/dining/living area and on the first floor will be an adding some additional space to our bedroom.

Watched

Trolls!  Wow, what a fab film, I absolutely loved it.  I swear I was almost up dancing in the aisles at the cinema, such a feel good movie.

Made

I’ve actually made quite a bit this week.  I made a pea and ham soup, a balloon wasp (O got bought a balloon modelling kit about two years ago and found it in his cupboard this week so we were giving it a go, harder than it looks), and a map.  One of O’s school friends had made one with his mum so O wanted to, we soaked the plate in tea for the aged look and O drew the map.  It passed away a half hour after school! Q

Wore

It’s been all about the comfies this week, lots of jeans and jumper combos.  We’re going out for dinner tomorrow and I’m looking forward to dressing up a little, feels like I’ve been in my scruffs all this week.

Heard

As soon as I came home from the cinema on Sunday I downloaded the Trolls soundtrack, it is so good (and may have prompted a “how old are you?” comment from my husband).  There has been quite a lot of dancing in the kitchen to the songs this week, G is loving it and laughing his little head off at my dodgy mum dancing.  This is one of my favourites:

And Lastly…

Next week our gorgeous G turns 8 months and I can’t believe how quickly the time has gone. He’s such a delight to be around, a happy, cheeky little boy who is always smiling.  He’s desperately trying to crawl and he is such a determined character I don’t think it’ll be long before he’s on the move. Time to get the baby gates back out I think!

I hope you’ve had a lovely week, see you next Friday. xx

Ooo… The extension looks lovely! I bet you can’t wait to get started on that. It has been all about the comfies here this week also; lots of jumpers, fleeces, big warm scarves. Such a cute picture of your littlest.

I hope you have a lovely weekend!

Thanks lovely, it will be so much lighter, the house is quite dark at the moment so it will make a huge difference! xx

I LOVED Trolls and did exactly the same as you, we’ve had the soundtrack on repeat for about three weeks now I think! The extension for your house sounds very exciting, I bet you can’t wait to get started! A balloon wasp sounds fairly impressive too, I think I would be hopeless at balloon animals. Have a great week 🙂

Love the extension. I’m not surprised you can’t wait. Everyone seems to be watching Trolls, makes me want to take my eldest to see it. My little one is 8 months in 2 weeks. I have no idea where the time has gone either. Your little one sounds adorable. I think mine would like to crawl soon too but I think she may be a little further off than yours.

So good to hear about Trolls as we are seeing it tomorrow morning. I shall refrain from dancing in the aisle lol. Your extension looks wonderful, and love the balcony. I dream of having a balcony but having a bedroom on the front of the house it will never happen. And how is G 8 months already, how time flies #littleloves x

Wow your house plans sounds absolutely amazing. We need an extension so badly on ours too. Trolls was a fabulous movie wasn’t it? We had a great time last week watching it. Great music in the movie too. Love the outfits fashionista. Can’t believe how fast little man is growing up. Goes so fast doesn’t it? #littleloves

The extension looks amazing, there’ll be so much light in the kitchen/dining area. We loved Trolls and I felt a little bit like you. Amy kept giving me sid-eye because I was singing along… #littleloves
