After a crazy few weeks the past one has been a lot calmer although I have to admit I am more than ready for the half term break, I’m absolutely shattered and looking forward to a rest. Thank goodness for half term.
Read
Not too much to be honest, there have been a lot of early nights this week but I have been reading up on Bruges in preparation of actually being there on Sunday. I am so excited, it has always been high on my places I’d love to visit list and can’t wait for a potter round at the weekend.
Watched
I wanted to watch A Theory Of Everything when it was out at the cinema but we never got round to going so when I spotted it was on on Sky Movies I sat up on Saturday night to see it. Eddie Redmayne was outstanding and it was fascinating to see the more personal side of Stephen Hawking.
Wore
Nothing too exciting but I have been wearing my little black boots I bought in the M&S sale last Spring. I am so glad I decided not to return them as they go with everything and are my favourite footwear at the minute.
Heard
It was bound to happen at some point but we have reached the “isn’t poo and wee hilarious?” phase. I’ve lost count of the number of conversations I have had with O this week about them and he giggles his head off every time. Good job he’s cute!
Made
I’m still working on trying to be more crafty with O and so we got the Mister Maker kits out over the weekend and made some horses and a racing car. I actually really enjoyed sitting down making them with him and he was so proud of his efforts, it was very cute to see. After a trip to Tesco this week I have stocked up on some more craft packs (they were in the sale) and am currently saving egg boxes and toilet roll tubes so watch this space for more of our creations.
And Lastly…
Tomorrow me and hubby are off on our mini-cruise! It seemed so long away when it was booked back in April but it is here and I can’t wait. O is super excited at an extended sleep over at grandma and granddads, and I’m giddy at the thought of three days of lie-ins.
Have a lovely week, and I hope you enjoy the half term break.
I really want to see that film!! I’m in on my own tomorrow and feeling poorly so I might just treat myself to a download too! Soooo jealous of your mini cruise. Sounds amazing. I need to do something like this with my husband. It’s been too long. Have a fabulous time!! Xx
