Happy Friday, February seems to be passing in a bit of a blur after January dragging along. I am so excited for Spring and am already loving the lighter nights and mornings. Well, as you probably know already, I am back in work today but only for a few hours before our half term begins and on Monday we are off to Disneyland Paris. O keeps telling me he just can’t wait and I feel exactly the same way.
It’s been all things Disney this week as I’ve been using G’s nap times for holiday planning.
I’ve found myself watching G a lot this week. He’s such a little character and into everything he shouldn’t be at the moment. O was a bit of a lazy baby and G is anything but, saying that I love his more feisty nature. He had a bit of a cold this week and on Wednesday he just wanted to sleep and have cuddles and I was happy to go with it.
Lots and lots go lego creations. O was bought loads of the stuff for his birthday and he is now just starting to get into it. He loves getting the kits out and building with my help.
Last Friday I had a lovely lunch out with my mum and dad and finally wore a skirt I bought a couple of years ago which had always been a bit too tight.
I did treat myself to a new dress to wear for my first day back, so this is what I’m wearing today.
Oh, and looking forward to Spring I may have bought the skirt I’d been eyeing up for the past few weeks. It is so pretty, I can’t wait to wear it.
G getting very noisy. He has started saying “Dadadadada” which my husband is claiming as his first word. I don’t really have the heart to tell him that he’s just babbling!
Yesterday I did something I have been meaning to do for months, I went and had a bra fitting at M&S. For the past few years my weight has yo-yoed a bit, and then being pregnant, breastfeeding, stopping breastfeeding means that I had no idea at all what size bra I should be wearing. I’m so glad I did, I have been wearing the complete wrong size and I can’t tell you the difference the new underwear has made. If you haven’t been before book yourself in to your local M&S and get measured. I was amazed when the lovely Marks lady told me what size I should be wearing, I never would have picked up that size in a million years!
I’m taking a break from Little Loves next week as we’re away but I’ll be back in a fortnight with the Disney edition. Have a great holiday if your half terming next week and for those who have already been off I hope you had a lovely one.
