Disney Planning, Big Boy Dates and Mum Treats #LittleLoves

How’s your week been?  It’s been a fairly quiet one here, and I am really enjoying that there isn’t anywhere that we desperately need to be.  Maybe it’s because it’s January and I don’t want to be far from home and maybe it’s because I know my maternity days are coming to an end and I want to get organised at home.  Usually I’m climbing the walls if I don’t get out I’m just loving being here at the moment.  Apologies in advance for what is probably not the most exciting Little Loves!

Read

We’ve been doing some Disneyland Paris research this week so I’ve been reading lots of restaurant reviews and menus deciding where we want to eat and the next step is planning our days out.  It’s been booked for so long (almost 18 months) that it’s hard to believe we are actually going, and 4 weeks on Monday.  I can’t wait to see O’s face when we’re there.

Watched

The Sherlock finale!  How good was it?? I promise I’ll stop mentioning Sherlock now.

I am quite excited that O and I are having a spot of big boy and Mummy time and are off to see Trolls on Sunday morning.  It wasn’t a film I had planned on watching but friends have raved about it so I wanted to see what the fuss was about.  More than anything I am looking forward to spending some time with O, feels like such a long time since we did something just the two of us.

Made

I made a slow cooker chicken curry on Sunday that was so tasty.  The recipe is here from Baking Queen 74, and I can highly recommend it.

Wore

I’m trying to make more of an effort to more style/fashion pictures on my Instagram so you can always pop over there to see what I’m wearing.  A couple of this weeks outfits were:

Heard

In a bid to tone up I’ve been doing the Jillian Michaels 30 day shred so I have been hearing her voice every morning.  I started on the 1st January and apart from having the odd day off I’ve stuck to it really well and feel much better for it.

And Lastly…

This week I was invited to the Rejuvenate Skin Clinic in Manchester for a treatment.  My mum had G for the day and I popped into town, on my own.  It was such a treat and a lovely experience, I’ll be telling you all about it next week.

Have a wonderful week, is it just me or does January seem to be lasting forever but going so quickly all at the same time?

You look absolutely amazing. I love those outfits. But that cardigan is totally swoon-worthy. The finale of Sherlock was epic. I really want to watch it again. Have a lovely weekend love. Hugs Lucy xxxx

Half the fun of a holiday is the planning and research… or maybe I’m just mad! How exciting with your holiday less than a month away! I’m always looking for new slow cooker recipes, so I’ll have to look into that recipe you’ve shared. The outfits look great! I hope you have a lovely weekend.

I love all the planning and researching but I then really struggle to make a final decision. I read so many reviews and then focus on the one negative one out of hundreds of good ones. Have to remind myself that everyone is different and people like different things! xx

We only recently watched Trolls and it was SO good. Definitely worth the hype in my opinion 🙂 And eek, so close to Disneyland Paris, how exciting!!

Can’t wait to hear about the treatment you had I could definitely do with some pampering. Have a lovely weekend. #LittleLoves

You look fab honey, yep I completely agree that January is sticking around. Ooh that clinic sounds lovely, I could just do with a facial. Have a lovely weekend and don’t forget to ask me your Disney questions X

Sounds like a lovely week. I also enjoyed Sherlock. I joy trolls with your big boy. I took my eldest to the panto a couple of weeks ago and it was lovely spending time with her. I love holiday research and planning. I bet you can’t wait.

Oh sounds like you had a wonderful week darling. I can’t wait to hear all about Disney too seems everyone is going at the minute so jealous it’s on my list one day. Although I would have to give up my trip to summer at my parents to go one year not looking forward to that. I haven’t heard of Sherlock but everyone seems to be shouting about it this week. #littleloves

Oh, sounds like you’ve had a lovely week. Exciting planning for your holiday – especially when you’ve been waiting so long for it to come around. I’ve not actually seen Sherlock, but seen a lot of love for it lately. Enjoy your weekend xx

Hope you enjoy your date, I really wasn’t expecting to like Trolls, but loved it and downloaded the soundtrack because the music was so uplifting and fun. I really enjoy the planning for holidays, we went to Disney Paris and had a brilliant time it is so magical, I remember blinking back the tears when I saw the castle for the first time. I’m sure you’ve already found lots of advice, we stayed in a Disney hotel and made the most of the early opening for guests, we got to go on our favourite rides lots of times in that first hour with no queues, Disney café is fantastic, try and book a table in advance to meet all the characters. The app was great for knowing queue times too. Enjoy the Disney magic, it really is special.

I think I’ll be the same when I see the castle, we’re in a Disney hotel too and have warned my husband we will be up and in the park early to make the most of the early opening. I just downloaded all the apps last night.
I loved Trolls, and downloaded the soundtrack as soon as we were home (there may have been some dodgy mum dancing in the kitchen!) xx

That cardigan looks so lovely and warm! I remember when you mentioned booking Disneyland, bet you can’t wait to get there now. Everyone seems to be watching Trolls this weekend, we watched it again yesterday. Hope you and O enjoy it, it’s such a lovely film. You’re brave doing 30 day shred, I thought it was great but I didn’t manage more than a week on it as my knees decided to give up on me (all those squats no doubt), mind you that was about 2 years ago so maybe I should stop being so lazy and give it another go. Have a great week x

Ooh I’ve done the 30 Day Shred too – a killer but so good to get you rejuvenated in the new year. Good luck! Loving your outfits, especially the dark grey coatigan (as my sister called my red one this week). So handy aren’t they for these cold, frosty mornings. I’m also trying to experiment with some more fashion posts. Faux leather jackets this week…eek! Hope you like Trolls, my girls loved it and they are 15 and 16 – definitely one for everyone! xx

I think January is going so quickly, and it’s only another 3 weeks and my 2 break up for half term again. You look lovely Jo, and looking forward to reading about your treatment at the skin clinic. And how exciting being off to Disneyland Paris. I absolutely love all the researching and planning that comes with a Disney holiday #littleloves x

Loving your style shots, you’re looking fab!
Oh gosh, Jillian Michaels voice gives me nightmares! I had to do that dvd on mute in the end as I couldn’t stand the ‘don’t phone it in’s, haha!
So exciting about your Disney trip, give me a shout if you’ve got any questions I can help with. Do you hear from that PR? xx

Thanks lovely, I have to admit I’ve turned Jillian down and now watch a bit of Baby Daddy whilst I’m doing it. The “don’t phone it ins” do start to grate after a while.
I didn’t hear, but thanks for passing my details on, I think we’re going to get a meal plan before we go to cover eating out. Just been deciding where we want to go. xx
