Dilemmas, A Few Treats and A Bit Of A Quickie #LittleLoves

Happy Friday Little Loves gang.  I’m sorry but this is going to be a bit of a quickie this week as I’m writing this post on Thursday night and I have a stack of marking sat on my dining room table calling my name.  A stack of marking that has sadly meant I have had to cancel my ticket to BlogCamp tomorrow.  My A-level kids exam is less than three weeks away and it’s not fair to them to delay handing back their hard work because I’ve been out for the day.  I am gutted though.

Work has been so busy this week that I have hardly had time to read anything but I have read a job description and was so so tempted to apply. It was for a great job, in a fantastic sixth form college, but would mean going full time from September. After a lot of thinking (and talking it through) this week I’ve decided not to apply. A part of me feels a little sad but as my husband pointed out there will be other jobs but it’s O’s last year before starting school and I can never get that time back. Sometimes it’s so hard to know what is the best decision to make, but spending more time with my son before he starts school can only be a good thing.

Watched
I was feeling rotten on Tuesday and took myself off for a relaxing bath and a catch up on Monday night’s Revenge. It was such a good episode and I’m so sad this is going to be the last series. I love that Hamptons madness.

Heard
A song I haven’t heard for a few years was on my spin class track list yesterday. I love this song and it always reminds me of when I first starting seeing my husband. We went to watch Trainspotting on one of our first dates.

Made
If you were on Instagram last weekend you will probably have seen the pics that were coming out from the bloggers (including our own Little Love Donna) that were on the Anthem Of The Seas cruise for a couple of days. I have to admit I was impressed, it looked amazing. So amazing that I have booked me and hubby a 3 day cruise for his joint birthday and Christmas present. We’ve decided to leave O behind with his grandparents and I am so excited to spend some quality time just the two of us.

Wore
Last Friday I popped into New Look to pick up a t-shirt and ended up leaving with a lot more. The dress is for our holidays but I have loved wearing the t-shirts this week, perfect for the gorgeous weather we’ve been having.

And Lastly…
This week my mum and dad gave me these gorgeous flowers just to let me know they were thinking of me, bless ’em.

Have a wonderful week, I’m off to get on with my marking…

I was wondering what the bit of a quickie might refer to 😉 tee hee. I’m in love with that haul. Off to New Look with me I think.

I think you’ve made the right call on the job. It’s tough though. Sorry you’re missing blog camp, I’m not going but it’s always tough when life gets in the way. Have a lovely weekend xxx

Another one with a slightly dirty mind here!

Those flowers are beautiful – ‘just because’ bunches are always the loveliest to receive.

I don’t have very good sea legs but the cruise ship did look amazing – you deserve a special trip!

    Have a great weekend x

I’ve been reading quite a few blog posts on the Anthem of The Seas too and would love to go….I’m very jealous! You are braver than me putting the iPad over the bath, I would guarantee I would knock it into the bath, I put it on the toilet seat! Love your new purchases! I may have to get those t-shirts! Hope you get through the marking and have a great week xxx

    Enjoy these #LittleLove posts.
I now want a ‘I have nothing to wear’ tshirt, so on trend.
The fact your missing out on blog camp because of marking sucks 🙁 Its so hard being responsible and prioritising. I hope you get it all done, looks like quite a big task!
Your also brave with the whole ipad and bath thing, I’m far to clumsy for that, looks so relaxing though x

How sad that you had to cancel your Blog Camp ticket 🙁 I hope you managed to get all the work done you needed too. I am relieved that it’s the last series of ‘Revenge’ …I feel like they’ve dragged it out forever! I do love it though. Loving your New Look choices – especially the weekend one! Hope you have a lovely weekend! xx

All the Anthem of the Seas posts had me looking at cruises too. I’d love to go next year but I doubt we wil. I love all the things you picked up from New Look. I definitely need some new clothes.

I really wanted to go to BlogCamp too but I am at Blog ON next weekend and Blogtacular and I really can’t make them all with no babysitters hahaha Too funny I have bought all those same outfits from new look too this past week. Oh I fancy a wee holiday, but I think we will have to stay home for a while now with everything else that’s going on. The thing that stands out the most in your post, is the kindle over the bath! I would be terrified of knocking mine in lol! I’m turning into such a fuddy duddy in my old age lol! Hope you are having a lovely week x

Mind in the gutter but I thought your quickie was something else for a minute there. Relieved to know you’re not blogging about THAT part of your life. The rest sounds lovely though! Really admire your commitment to your students. They are lucky to have you! Also impressed with how you’ve balanced your iPad in the bath. I’d NEVER manage that. It would be soggy within seconds! Great #littleloves x
