Hasn’t it been lovely to see a bit of sun this week? Whilst it has still been bitterly cold it’s been such a nice change for it not to always be so grey. You could almost thing Spring is almost upon us.
My first week back at work is done and only 8 more working weeks before maternity leave starts, so bloomin’ excited I can’t begin to tell you. I may have driven my workmates mad by then with my daily countdown of how long I have left.
Read
Apart from a bit of a flick through Gurgle on Sunday morning I haven’t read too much BUT I have bought a copy of The Unmumsy Mum as I have my Glucose Tolerance Test this morning. I’m actually quite looking forward to a couple of hours sitting with nothing to do but catch up on a bit of reading.
Watched
In a bid to spend less time sat on our iPads, generally ignoring each other, me and my husband are having movie nights at the weekends. Last Friday we started watching Django Unchained, not my choice, and as we were both so knackered it took us three nights to finish it. A bit violent for my liking but not a bad film.
And of course, The Brits. I can’t help myself, every year I’m glued to it.
Made
I’m handing over to O for this one. He was collecting sticks in the garden with his grandad on Monday and decided to make his very own Stick Man as it already had a little nose. I think he’s done a pretty good job.
Wore
This week I’ve been reviewing some maternity wear from Mother & Nature. The jacket and fleece were so warm and cosy and perfect for these bitterly cold mornings we’ve been having. You can read a little more about them here.
Heard
I’m loving Adele’s When We Were Young this week and it has been downloaded and played more than a few times. How beautiful was this at the Brits??
And Lastly..
Last Friday I went for the pregnancy massage hubby and O had bought me for one of my Christmas presents. It was so wonderful and by the end of it I was almost falling asleep during the scalp massage. I’ve spent the past week saying what a great Mothers Day present another one would be, let’s see if one of my boys can take a hint.
Have a lovely weekend and see you next Friday.
The massage sounds lovely and relaxing. I love O’s stickman as well, what a brilliant idea 🙂 Have a great week x

Good luck with the glucose test – the syrup isn’t that bad (compared to what it used to be like, apparently!) and I rather enjoyed having a couple of hours where I had to sit still and chill out! That Stick Man is awesome! x
