The Ordinary Moments – Getting Away

This weekend has been our first visit of the summer season to my parents caravan in north Wales. A few minutes walk from the beach and a few minutes drive from some beautiful locations, it’s the perfect place to get away from it all.

It’s lovely to spend time together without the distractions of home. No washing and cleaning to worry about and O loves pointing out all the new things he can see from the caravan window.

We first started coming as a recently engaged couple and now we arrive as a family of 3, and we’ll be coming for many years to come!

How beautiful and it’s so nice to have a tradition that you have been doing since being a recently engaged couple – and now being able to create memories as a family!

Thanks Emma we had a fab time. Lots of rain but O loved jumping in the puddles so he was perfectly happy. Looking forward to going back with some warmer weather though.

Hope you had a lovely weekend away too xx

Oh wow how lucky you are to have such a brilliant place to holiday! Always wanted a caravan when i was a kid – never stayed in one, even now!

What!?! You’ve never stayed in a caravan? Ooh, you’ve never lived! I used to refuse to leave the caravan as a kid when we went away.

Yeah, we are lucky. It’s fab being able to pack up the car and head off pretty much whenever we want. Paying for the break from routine now though asO refused to go to sleep until half 8 tonight 🙁

Hope O is better for you tomo, we had the same here due to a sicky baby and it really eats into your much needed me time! x
