As the back to work reality starts to kick in I just wanted to take a little bit of time and think back on what a lovely Christmas this year has been. O is at the age when it’s all magical to him and seeing Christmas through a 3 years olds eyes is something very special indeed.
We haven’t really done anything out of the ordinary, and I’d bore myself talking you through how we spent our time but I would like to share a few of my favourite photos with you that sum up the past couple of weeks.
The first night of the holidays was also our wedding anniversary and this was the delicious mini assortment of puddings we had for dessert! They were as yummy as they look!
Every year our village has an annual Carols in the Barn service. Last year O slept all the way through it, but this year he really tried to join in. Who needs to know the words, eh?
On Christmas Eve my in laws took O to watch a pantomime so me and the hubby had a trip to the Trafford Centre and grabbed a quick bite to eat in Yo Sushi. A little bit of calm before the storm.
Spreading the magic reindeer food on Christmas Eve night.
A mummy/son cuddle on Christmas Day.
The snow starting to fall on Boxing Day night.
A trip ice skating in Manchester.
With a hot chocolate to warm up with afterwards.
Not the best photo but our New Years Eve trip to pantomime. A lot more fun than I thought it was going to be.
My little superhero on New Years Day (he didn’t take this off for 2 days!)
My mother in laws beautiful festive fireplace.
For every trip out there have been many more hours spent watching Frozen or Jack Frost or having a pizza picnic in the living room. Moments which have still been so special, and I now have a little boy that wants me to sing Let It Go to him every night before bed.
Goodbye Christmas 2014, it’s been a blast!
Gorgeous pictures JoJo, my little skirt twin! 🙂 I really loved a little glimpse into your holidays – it looks like you had the loveliest break. Happy New Year to you lovely – I’m so looking forward to getting to know you better in 2015 xxx

Can I start by saying how beautifully that fireplace is decorated? It probably more decorations in than my whole house did over Christmas and still looks better! Sounds like you had a wonderful Christmas. I love how strongly children feel about clothes…even though it can be annoying, you’ve got to love how they connect with things. I am a fellow Yo! Sushi lover…so many favourites! x
