Love The Little Things #20

After the fab highs of last week, this one had a lot to live up to, and to be honest it really hasn’t managed it.  It’s generally been a bit of a meh week, one of those you just get through, but there are holidays a coming so the next few weeks will be better. Anyway, after a pretty ordinary week, let’s focus on the good things. Read Slight cheat as I haven’t really read this yet but been stocking up on books ready for the hols.  Now that O is in his own seat and we have on site…

Putting The Moaning On Hold!

I’ll be the first to admit I can be a bit of a moaner. You should see me in the staff room at lunch, although (in my defence) I’m not on my own! Wakey Wakey, Rise and Shine!

I’ve never been a morning person. Just ask my mum, she’ll back me up. As a teenager my dad was banned from speaking to me for at least half an hour after I woke up. His cheery banter was the last thing I needed first thing! Occasionally he’d give it another go, to see if I’d mellowed, only to receive a withering look from mum and probably a slammed door from me (stroppy mare that I was). I love my bed, at all times of the day. Nothing better than a sneaky afternoon nap tucked up in bed, although these…

Love The Little Things #18

Happy May everyone.  I love that the nights are lighter, the weather is getting warmer and we go on holiday this month.  Yippee!! Without further ado, let’s have a little look at the little loves of the week. Read As we’re heading into the craziness that is “exam season” at work I haven’t had much time to read anything other than other blog posts (and I’m falling behind with that aswell).  I loved seeing our very own Emma from Life At The Little Wood strutting her blogging stuff on the Sanctuary Spa site.  Pop over and take a look at…
