Love The Little Things

Less than two weeks to go until the big day and I’m starting to get excited!

This week I’ve taken a bit of a step back from my blog and, you know what, it’s been really nice. Instead of spending my evenings with my iPad I’ve watched Christmas movies and chatted to hubby. We even had a mid-week date night!

Read My Christmas magazines! I bought these weeks ago and stashed them in the bottom of my wardrobe. With O at his Nana’s on Wednesday night I ran myself a bath and spent an hour flicking through for festive inspiration.

Watched We had a long overdue trip to the cinema to watch Mockingjay. I loved it and can’t wait for the final instalment!

Heard As O was staying out for the night on Wednesday I rang him up for a chat afterwork. He very proudly told me how he’d covered Nana’s house with sticky tape, along with his cousin. Not sure Nana was that impressed!

Made This week I’ve had a go at making some home made Christmas gifts and have made some Peanut Butter Fudge. It’s now been cut up, put into pretty jars and just needs a bit of ribbon and then it’s ready to go!

Wore Big, warm hoodies! This week I’ve really struggled to get warm so as soon as I’ve got in from work it’s been comfy pants on along with my warmest hoodie.

And lastly… This isn’t a little thing, quite the opposite. In the next village along someone has taken getting into the Christmas spirit to the extreme and put this outside the front of their house!

Every time I drive past it makes me smile, and it even got a mention on the local radio station!

Everyone is talking about it, so I’m going to have to admit, never heard of Mockingjay. I will have to investigate! Glad you have had a good week. That massive Santa made me smile, but so did the thought of you parking up just to get a photo! (I’m obviously guessing this is what you did.) Have a lovely week xx
