Disneyland, Oscar Cock Ups & a New Hashtag #LittleLoves

It feels like so much has happened in the past couple of weeks, since I last joined in with Little Loves.  We had a wonderful time at Disneyland Paris and by the end of today I will have completed my first full week back in work, and it feels like I’ve never been away.  There have been some new routines to get our heads round this week but all is going well so far, although I am looking forward to my new 3 day weekend.

Read

I read some lovely news yesterday that one on my favourite bloggers Laura Evelyn Bee was making a comeback.  She took a break at the end of last year and it was lovely to see her back.

Watched

One thing I love is watching the Oscars coverage the morning after the event.  I love seeing the dresses and who won what.  I am far too lazy to stay up to actually watch it live but I love the after party, and this year was fantastic.  Poor Warren Beatty, and what a cock up.  As I know longer work Mondays I may have watched the fall out from Wrong Best Picture-gate for several hours.

Made

Cheesy link, but we made some lovely memories in our week away at Disneyland Paris.  I’ll be brutally honest, I didn’t really get the whole Disney thing.  I liked the films but that was about it.  I think it took me a day to be sold on the place, seeing O’s face was heart melting.  There were a few tears when he met Mickey, he was so happy!

Wore

Mostly my big coat and bobble hat, it was a bit chilly in Paris!

Heard

One of O’s favourite parts of Disneyland Paris was watching the Car Stunt show at the studios.  He was completely enthralled, and at the end the only thing he could say was “Wow”.

And Lastly…

For a while I have been adding the hashtag #notafrumpymum to my fashion/style pics.  This week I decided to take the plunge and launch it as a community that hopefully others will join in with, I wrote a post about it here.  I’d love to see you joining in!

Have a great week, hopefully it will be getting warmer, and the nights are definitely getting lighter. Come on Spring!

Loved following your trip to Disneyland, and how cute that O shed tears when he met Mickey. Eek I couldn’t believe what happened at The Oscars, what a shambles and would have loved to have it watched it live. Best of luck with your new hashtag, you always look so super stylish. Have a great week #littleloves x

Aww, thank you Tracey, I don’t always feel stylish when I’m in my scruffy jeans with baby sick down my arm! I loved taking all the Disneyland pics, although I think I was driving my husband mad but the end. Meeting Mickey was my highlight of the trip, just the cutest thing.

I’m not sure my husband is so keen to return, although he is all for Disneyland Florida but not until the boys are bigger. The only downside of the Oscars gaff was that I’m still not sure who won what because that’s all they were talking about! xx

I’m sure your girls would love it! G was a bit too young to understand what was going on, although he did love the “It’s A Small World” ride. On the plus side though it didn’t actually cost anything for him to go and it was lovely to spend so much family time together. xx
