Car Share, Dino-Jumpers & House Plans #LittleLoves

Now where did the past week go? I can’t say I was looking forward to the return to work after the Easter break, I really enjoyed having two weeks at home with the kids but this is a short half term and it will be the May holiday before we know it.  The downside of being a teacher is you often find yourself wishing time away to the next school holiday.

I had a quite unexpected and very exciting email arrive this week.  I can’t say too much more about it at the moment (I know, I hate it when people do this too) but I will hopefully be able to share what it was in the next couple of weeks.

Watched

I have to mention Car Share here.  My mum and dad have binge watched the series on iPlayer and have been talking about the safari park episode for the past couple of weeks.  It was worth their hype, we were belly laughing at it.  Love Peter Kay!

Made

G is a bit of a food monster.  He loves it, and he has started to make it very clear that he wants proper food and not purees or anything he sees as baby food.  This week I made him a homemade shepherds pie and he loved it!

He also loves anything that he can feed himself with.  O was such a fussy eater and at one point would only eat Ella’s Kitchen pouches.  Weaning G is a dream in comparison and a pleasure to cook for as he looks like he’s enjoying every mouthful.

Wore

I’ve had a bit of a boring week here, but I am still trying to stick to my no new clothes April (only a few more days to go).  I’m going to hand over to G for this very cute dino jumper from Asda.  A bargain at £7.

Heard
The very exciting news that our extension plans have been given planning permission.  To be honest we were expecting to have to make a few alterations to our original design but it has all been passed which is very exciting.  They’ll be some new Pinterest boards being created very soon!

And Lastly…

Maybe this should fall into the heard category but I’m putting it here because my little boy said Mama for the first time this week, twice!  He has been saying Dada for weeks, and even managed Daddy once, so it was a lovely surprise to hear him say Mama.

Have a lovely week and I’ve heard that there may be some warmer weather coming next week.  Fingers crossed!

Yay for exciting news, can’t wait to hear more. Love the jumper. Good sounds to be a dream at eating. My littlest doesn’t seem to be a fussy eater but just doesn’t seem to have much of an appetite. It’s lovely when they say mama. My little girl says mama but still trying to work out if it is intentional or just a sound.
