Summer Trends with Simply Be

As you may have guessed from my blog name I have slight phobia about turning into a frump now that I’m a mother and approaching a big 4-0 birthday (I’m still a few years off but close enough for it to be a concern).  Since having my two boys my weight has fluctuated constantly and it’s probably only now, over five years since having O that I am starting to feel a bit more body confident again.

But as a woman in my mid-late 30’s I find that I don’t really know where to shop.  I feel a bit too old for a lot of what is in Topshop and New Look but still want to keep a fashionable edge to what I wear.  I find myself relying on the same places, usually Next and Marks and Spencers, especially as I rarely get to go shopping on my own so have little opportunity to browse the shops for any length of time.

With two little boys, who really hate clothes shopping with Mummy, I spend a lot of time window shopping online and always love coming across new websites, Simply Be is one of those websites that I have recently discovered.  I have been really impressed with how on trend their clothes are and as well as clothes they have shoes and accessories too.

A few of the big trends for Summer 2017 are gingham, rock tees and, one of my personal favourites, embroidery and Simply Be are rocking these styles.  Take a look below at my 3 favourite items from each trend.

I think one of the reasons I hadn’t looked at Simply Be before was because I thought it was aimed at Size 16 plus, but most styles start at Size 12 with some items also available in a Size 10.  If you are looking for a new website to check out, Simply Be is well worth a visit.

That looks cool! Just today, I was looking at my princess string of pearls and asking myself, “Is it classic or frumpy?” with what I had packed.
