One of G’s Christmas presents from his Auntie was a Fisher Price Dance and Move Beat Bo, it quickly became one of his favourites.  He loves pushing it’s belly and his older brother helps him by singing along when Beat Bo asks you too.  It was my go-to toy to distract G so that I could have a few minutes to throw some clothes on before he tried to climb up my leg to be picked up. We escaped relatively unscathed when O was teething.  Apart from an odd day here or there his first teeth appeared without too much fuss.  Obviously I had bought a rather well known giraffe to help him through the teething pain but it was never really needed. When I was pregnant the first time I read every mother and baby magazine out there religiously.  I made lists of what we needed and bought almost everything off it.  The planner in me kicked in and I wanted to be prepared for every eventuality.  Somehow a Jumperoo passed me by.  Maybe it was because it was one of those items you don’t need for a newborn and in my pregnant state I was focusing on those first few weeks.
