Children In Need is an event that has been around for as long as I can remember.  I have an early memory of wearing my PJ’s to primary school to raise money for Children In Need and now that I’m the teacher we always have a non uniform day to raise awareness and someone usually tries to suggest we have a “Throw The Wet Sponge At A Teacher” stall, all in the name of charity. I have to admit I love flowers. Not quite to the same extent that Elton John does, but I do  try to always have a few fresh ones in the house even if they are just a bunch of £1 daffodils from the supermarket. There’s something about seeing them that always makes me smile.
