I missed last months bucket list. I kept meaning to write one, but March was a bit of a crazy month and it was really hard to focus on anything whilst things were so much up in the air. I feel like April is a little bit of a fresh start for us, maybe it’s the promise of Spring. It’s the perfect time to create a bucket list.
I didn’t do too well on Februarys list. I didn’t buy a sledge, although we haven’t had any more snow so I don’t feel bad about this one, but my car remains unwashed and seeing as it is actually now quite embarrassing how dirty it is on my Easter hols to-do list.
By the end of April I want to be able to say that I have:
1. Spent more time reading and commenting on other blogs
I have got really behind with my blog reading and apart from catching up with a few of my favourites I haven’t been reading too much. I have a tendency to favourite a tweet with a blog
post that looks good and then completely forget to go back to it and read it.
2. Replied to every comment on the blog
This was a little New Years resolution to myself and I have been rubbish at keeping to it. I personally think its lovely when a blogger replies to your comment and I always plan to but then (again) something else seems to crop up. For this month, and hopefully longer, I will be replying to every comment.
3. Been on a spa day
My brother bought me a spa day as a joint Christmas and Birthday present and I haven’t got round to booking it in yet but whilst it’s the Easter hols I’m going to go and treat myself.
4. Lost a few inches
Over the past couple of months, with not being able to exercise and the hormones I was on, I have plumped up a little. Funnily enough I haven’t actually put on very much weight, but I am definitely bigger than I was and feeling very unfit and unhealthy.
5. Cleared the junk room
It isn’t really the junk room, it is/was hubby’s office but has become a breeding ground for anything and everything that we’re not too sure where it should go. We’ve had a little addition to the family in the form of a garden office so once all the study furniture has been moved out of the room I’ll be having a good sort out and turning it into a guest bedroom (or somewhere for me to escape too when a certain someone is snoring too loudly). I’m very excited at the thought of a little “me” room.
In February I managed three out my five bucket list items, I’m hoping for a full house this time!
I love your garden room, what an awesome idea. Its like an extension of your house but also a separate place. I now want one except I don’t think it would fit in my garden (sob) I defiantly need to do 1 and 2, its so hard trying to fit everything in though. Enjoy the spa day x
Oh yes it isn’t always easy to do 1 and 2! Ooòh how lovely does your hubby’s man cave look, I could certainly do with one of them

I’m trying to do more of 1, but I’ve made so many lovely new blogger friends it takes some keeping up with! I too am very jealous of your ‘junk room’. Lovely list!

Finding time to read and comment on new blogs is so hard, I am trying really hard to build my blog, but we have just been on holiday so had a week out and its hard going, there are so many blogs that I love to read and I am just trying to catch up on them all.
The garden room looks fab, and yay to having your own room to do what you wish with. x

I dream of owning a garden room like that. It looks amazing!!! Tbh, as a blog commenter, I never check whether people reply to my comments and never tick the box to be notified of replies. I hope that makes you feel better! x
